Our greatest strength is ourselves, the people behind the camera.

What began as a joint apartment search quickly turned into a film production.
We met in our first semester at HFF Munich and thought: If we're going to do this, then do it right!
So we founded our own company in 2022.
The name? Originated in a WhatsApp chat, you can find it here!

Today, we are a team of five with a common goal: to produce films that reach many people.

Our first movie Zweigstelle sold over 100,000 movie tickets, won the National Audience Award at Filmfest München in 2025, the Audience Award at the Filmkunstmesse Leipzig, and was nominated for the Günter Rohrbach Filmpreis & Jupiter Award. We also received 10 nominations for the New German Cinema Award.

Our film Punkte (in co-production with ZDF/ Das kleine Fernsehspiel) is a social realist feature film and is currently in post-production.

With Secrets of Siren, we also realized the first German vertical shorts series (Duanjun) in 2025, a format that we want to develop further and position ourselves on the market in the long term.

In addition to our fictional projects, we produce advertising films for brands such as Lidl, KTM and the Munich S-Bahn, for which we have received several awards, including the ADC Award, the Spotlight Festival and the New York Festivals Advertising Awards.

For us, it all belongs together: different formats, the same attitude - stories with relevance, emotion and audience appeal.
We rethink film - in cinemas, in streams, on social media - wherever stories find their audience.

WennDann Film stands for curiosity, attitude and genuine cooperation.
We are young, but not newcomers. And we believe that film is best when you make it together.

Because what counts in the end is who is behind the camera and that we do it together.
