What began as a joint apartment search quickly turned into a film production.
We met in our first semester at HFF Munich and thought: If we're going to do this, then do it right!
So we founded our own company in 2022.

Today, we are a team of five with a common goal: to produce films that reach many people.
Our first feature film Zweigstelle sold nearly 120,000 cinema tickets (THE SPOT Media & Film interview / company news: Zweigstelle 100,000+ tickets; VGF coverage via THE SPOT cited around 108,000 admissions: VGF award), won the National Audience Award at Filmfest München 2025 (Filmfest München; also HFF Munich), the Audience Award at Filmkunstmesse Leipzig, and was nominated for the Günter Rohrbach Filmpreis & Jupiter Award. We also received 10 nominations for the New German Cinema Award. We were particularly pleased to receive the VGF Newcomer Producer Award (News).
Our film I Understand Your Displeasure (co-production with ZDF / Das kleine Fernsehspiel) celebrated its world premiere in Panorama at the 76th Berlinale (Berlinale programme; News) and is released in German cinemas via Real Fiction.
For us, it all belongs together: different formats, the same attitude - stories with relevance, emotion and audience appeal.
We rethink film - in cinemas, in streams, on social media - wherever stories find their audience.
WennDann Film stands for curiosity, attitude and genuine cooperation.
We are young, but not newcomers. And we believe that film is best when you make it together.
Because what counts in the end is who is behind the camera and that we do it together.
