“ZWEIGSTELLE” TEAM PLANS “CHOPPER.”
Following the success of "Zweigstelle", filmmaker Julius Grimm and the WennDann Film team (Simon Bogocz, Felix Mann and Ben Ulrich) are working on a new feature film that is once again regionally anchored in Bavaria. This time, Grimm is co-writing the comedy entitled "Chopper" with Bernd Blaschke. The FFF Bayern supported the development with 30,000 euros.
The material is based on the so-called Chopper case. The media from all over the country came to Lohbergmoos, and even Australia and Japan sent camera teams to report on him: "CHOPPER", a supposed ghost who is up to mischief in a dental practice in Bavaria, driving dentist Joseph and doctor's assistant Babsi mad in particular. Bernd Blaschke and Julius Grimm developed the script with the support of eyewitnesses involved at the time. Julius Grimm, who comes from the region, is also directing the film. Filming is scheduled to start this year, once again in Bavaria. The movie is scheduled to be released in 2027.
